Therapy Centre for the Treatment of Addictions

As the largest drug rehabilitation centre in Europe it is the Anton Proksch Institute’s task to research and treat all forms of addiction, ranging from alcohol, medication, nicotine and drug addiction to non-substance related addictions such as gambling, internet and shopping addictions etc.
 

The Anton Proksch Institute’s activities encompass three areas:
 
Clinical Centre - treatment of alcohol, medication, drug and other addictions

Academy - comprehensive advanced education and training programme for all addiction-related issues

Research - basic and accompanying research in cooperation with other research institutes
