Counselling for Young People with Parents who Misuse Alcohol

Children whose parents are dependent upon alcohol experience significant stress and a wide variety of problems as a result of parental addiction. The Anton Proksch Institute provides a counselling service to support young people between the ages of 13 and 18 who are affected by this issue.

By providing teenagers with age-appropriate information on alcohol addiction it is possible to remove the taboos surrounding the problem, easing the stress that the adolescents face.
