Orpheus Module: Music

Orpheus defeated the sirens with his lyre. The Orpheus Programme therefore offers music projects for residential patients that help them find activities that offer joy and meaning. Participants do not have to have any previous knowledge of music. Current projects are:  

• Workshops with TUNE YOUR TEAM:
  Rhythm/Beat: Drumming is used to communicate the basic structures of music which are then actively developed and finally implemented in arrangements.
  Voice/Melody: The voice is the original musical instrument. The workshop gives participants the opportunity to experience the voice and make the most of its potential.
   
• Choir Project with Andreas Brüger:
  Songs for one or several voices
  Canons
  Folk songs (Austrian and international)
  Pop
  Jazz
  Classical literature
  On occasion, music that participants bring with them
